Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We never see or store your Google password.

Content you submit. Messages you send in the chat, and files or images you attach, are stored so that your conversation history is available to you on the website and in the extension.

Usage and technical data. For security, billing and abuse prevention we log request metadata: IP address, browser user agent, selected AI model, request cost, and timestamps. We also store your preferences (theme, language, selected model) and, for the extension, an access token that keeps you signed in.

The extension runs only in its own side panel. It does not read, track or collect your browsing history, the content of web pages you visit, keystrokes, or data from other tabs. It communicates exclusively with our own domain (https://fable5.bot).

We use the information we collect to:

• provide the Service: deliver your messages to AI models and stream answers back;
• keep your chat history and settings in sync between the website and the extension;
• meter usage and maintain your credit balance;
• secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse;
• respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.

To generate responses, the content of your messages and attachments is transmitted to our AI infrastructure provider (OpenRouter, Inc.) which routes it to the AI model you selected. This content is used solely to produce the response to you. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

We use only first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service: a session cookie for authentication and small preference cookies (language, theme). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The website uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage.

We share data only with service providers that make the Service work:

• Google (sign-in with Google);
• OpenRouter, Inc. (AI model responses, as described above);
• our hosting provider, which stores our database on secured servers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of the Service and its users.

Your chats remain available until you delete them; deleting a chat removes it from your history. You can request deletion of your entire account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below), and we will remove it within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

All traffic between your browser, the extension and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Access tokens are stored hashed; access to production data is restricted.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
